ABOUT ME

I’m an artist, storyteller, and craftsman drawn to the quiet places where imagination and the natural world meet. My work is deeply rooted in landscape and nature painting, with a particular love for forests, mountains, wild places, and the sense of story they can evoke. I’m fascinated by the way a landscape can feel like more than a place—it can become a character, a memory, or the setting for a story waiting to be told. I had the privilege of studying through a SmART School mentorship with fantasy artist Cynthia Sheppard, an experience that helped deepen my approach to composition, storytelling, and creating evocative worlds through art.

Art, however, is only one part of my creative life. I’m a writer, photographer, and woodworker, and I enjoy moving between mediums and learning how each one can communicate something different. Whether I’m painting a distant mountain range, photographing a quiet moment in the woods, shaping a piece of furniture by hand, or writing a story, I’m interested in craftsmanship, atmosphere, and the stories hidden in ordinary and wild places. My goal is to create work that invites people to slow down, look closer, and perhaps feel a little more connected to the world around them.
